CAROLINE PRINCE-WRIGHT - "Prim Spring"

Caroline has, in her opinion, the rather irritating distinction of being the tallest member of the society. Together with Debbie, another equally tall ex-CATS actor, they played trees which was very appropriate and Munchkins which was not, in "The Wizard of Oz".

In the 2002 CATS Talent Show, Caroline and Jon Keen mourned the fact that they were not considered suitable for the romantic leads, in the theme of 'Brief Encounter', complete with atmospheric music! Whether or not any future directors have taken the hint is unknown, but she did manage to get an onstage kiss with Simon Heffer in "Out of Focus." It was a very passionate clinch; up against the kitchen cabinets! That was also the show where she got to wear her wedding dress again!

Caroline's favourite performance was in "The Ghost Train" as the Chicago-born mobster, pretending to be a mad Cornish girl, Julia. She was suitably mad, and then very American - but then came "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Caroline turned into the slightly scary and very impressive Queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta. Despite the fact that she towered over Theseus, she still got to wear the best costumes! Caroline's other shows include "Dick Whittington" (Which meant Oscar for best cameo role in the Chorus,) "Cinderellium," Dracula, the Panto" "A Chorus of Disapproval" and most recently "Murdered to Death."

Along with her acting, Caroline has also done costume design for numerous shows including "Murdered to Death" and can also do a fine dance routine in top hat, tails and fishnet stockings! One of Caroline's worst moments on stage was during "Daisy Pulls it Off," when, as Miss Gibson, the headmistress, she forgot the morning's notices!
