Nigel is older than Myf, and works by day as a Research Chemist and by night as a father of three girls. This may or may not have been instrumental in his decision to join Crowthorne Amateur Theatrical Society at the beginning of 2001, though a very understanding wife certainly helped. In his time there he has been King of the Fairies (Oberon, A Midsummer's Night Dream), a pig loving, railway enthusiast (Leonard, Out of Focus), a shy philanderer (Guy Jones, A Chorus of Disapproval) and a sexagenarian Colonel, retired (Craddock, Murdered to Death). Clearly having been used to wearing a variety of coats as costumes under the hot lights and sweating for his art, it was appropriate he should be given the role of the doctor.
